SECWP is the world’s only regional organization dedicated to improving whistleblower rights, supporting whistleblowers and investigating their disclosures. SCOOP is Macedonia’s leading independent source of in-depth, public interest news.
The first annual International Whistleblower Day is held in Skopje on March 24, 2017. This all-day event at Mladinski Kulturni Centar Club features a meet-and-greet with whistleblowers, speeches by activists, a press conference, citizen speak-up, and live music.
Speakers include public prosecutor Katica Janeva, whistleblower Simo Gruevski, investigative journalist Zoran Ivanov, and activists Dzabir Derala, Slagana Taseva and Petrus Theunisz.
