Final Conference of the Regional Project “Strengthening anti-corruption in the South East Europe through improving asset seizure measures”

March 9

Following two years of implementing the Regional Project “Strengthening anti-corruption in Southeast Europe through improving asset seizure measures”, funded by the Government of the United Kingdom, and supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the implementing partners AIRE Centre and the RAI Secretariat are announcing the Final Conference of the project.

The conference will take place on 9 March 2021 from 10:00 till 14:00 CET. It will present an international perspective on asset recovery, with presentations by representatives of key European institutions and bodies, as well as a discussion on the future of asset recovery cooperation in Southeast Europe. The event will also include the presentation of the project’s final report and a discussion on how to build on the AIRE Centre and RAI’s work in the future.

The event will take place in a hybrid format. There will be a single central hub in which the main agenda items will take place and a further six regional hubs connected to the central hub via video link. The Regional Hubs will take place in person and will consist of the top asset recovery practitioners in SEE. Participants in each regional hub will be able to engage with the discussions and presentations in the central hub via video link.
