National representatives from 5 member states took part in Regional Anti-corruption Initiative (RAI) Steering Group Preliminary Meeting on September 24-25, 2009, in Cavtat, Croatia. The meeting was envisaged as preparatory forum, where the ideas for the future functioning of the Initiative should be raised in order to be transformed into decisions a month later at the 13th Steering Group Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Preliminary Meeting was focused on the following topics: establishment of a draft version of new Work Plan of the Initiative for 2010 – 2011; support for the Anti-corruption Resource Center maintained by RAI Secretariat; launching anti-corruption internship program; presentation of drafts of the annual country reports; the 10th anniversary of the Regional Anti-corruption Initiative, up-coming programmatic activities, etc.
RAI Senior Representatives discussed the proposed issues and agreed on reaching final decisions at the Steering Group Meeting at the latest. For details, please check the agenda, the list of participants and the summary, conclusions and decisions of the SG Preliminary meeting attached below. |
