Presentation of RAI program and activities in front of EU institutions
The representatives of RAI: Ms. Vesna Ratkovic - Chairperson of RAI, Mr. Edmond Dunga - Head of RAI Secretariat, Mr. Stanislav Aleksandrov - Anti-corruption Expert and Mr. Sorin Sterie - Senior Political Advisor in RCC's Liaison Office in Brussels made official presentation of the Initiative in front of the relevant EU institutions on April 29 - 30, 2009.

On the invitation of the Czech EU Presidency, Ms. Vesna Ratkovic presented during the COWEB (Committee for the Western Balkans Working Group) meeting, focusing on RAI organizational structure, program and project activities. The presentation met  great interest by the representatives of EU member states. It was followed by a meeting with Mrs. Christiane Kirschbaum and Mr. Johan Gabrielsson in TAIEX premises, where the possibility for TAIEX support for RAI events was discussed.

On the second day RAI team had a meetingin in the headquarters of OLAF with Mr. Thierry Cretin - Director for Investigations and Operations and discussed the possible ways for cooperation between OLAF and RAI in South - Eastern Europe. It was followed by a meeting in European Commission - Enlargement Directorate - General with Mr. Jose-Antonio Torres-Lacasa - Deputy of Regional Programs Unit and his team. The main topic of discussions were the priorities included in the IPA 2009 - 2011 and future EC regional programs.

Finally RAI representatives were welcomed by Mr. Stanislav Daskalov - Head of RCC's Brussels Liaison Office.
